Dr. Yugal Karkhur

Dr. Yugal Karkhur has an extensive experience of 10 plus years in the field of Orthopedics & joint replacement surgery. He has completed his MS in Orthopedics from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi and has worked at Delhi Government's largest hospital; Lok Nayak Hospital and Sushruta Trauma Centre as a Senior registrar 3 years. During this phase of his life, he attended to a large number of patients with complex trauma cases and various other bone and joint related conditions.

Over the years, he developed a keen interest in management of knee and hip conditions and delivering high standards of orthopedic care through non- surgical and surgical treatment options for the betterment and comfort of the patients. He is a fellowship certified hip and knee replacement surgeon and has completed his fellowship in joint replacement surgery and adult hip preservation surgery from Missouri Orthopedic Institute, Missouri, USA. He has also received thorough training in arthroscopic surgeries of shoulder and knee joints at Sports Injury Center, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. With his passion for orthopedics, he has been pursuing his interest in the field of joint replacement, he completed his Clinical Fellowship at Max Smart Superspeciality Hospital, New Delhi and continued as an Associate consultant there for 2 consecutive years. Dr. Yugal has been practicing in Gurgaon for the past 3 years and has associations with renowned hospital and clinics like CK Birla Hospital, Columbia Asia Hospital and Orthocure Clinics Pvt Ltd. He is currently working as a Consultant, Orthopedics and joint replacement surgery at Aarvy Healthcare Superspeciality Hospital. He is also the managing head and co-founder of Orthocure Surgery+ at Orthocure Clinics Pvt Ltd. where he is working towards developing a technology driven ecosystem to provide high quality Orthopedic surgical care to patients across the country. Dr. Yugal has immense interest in academics and research that has led him to publish more than 17 research papers in a number of international and national PubMed indexed peer reviewed journals and ongoing researches as well. He has been awarded with the Young ambassador award by the Asia Pacific Orthopedic Association in year 2016 for representing India at the biennial APOA Congress in Melbourne.
